Meet Kirsten and Harry! They are a hard charging couple, parents and business owners. And they LOVE being active on the water. So many things have changed for the better since joining Swift River. But don't take my word for it. We caught up with them and asked them some questions. Get to know Kirsten and Harry below.
What brought you to Swift River?
We joined in January 2019 for the 800 gram challenge. Ryan Mahan turned us on to it.
What do you love about Swift River CrossFit?
The variety in the workouts, the camaraderie the knowledgeable and enthusiastic coaches. We typically come in the morning and have found Bob to be the driving force behind our success. We have made SWCF an integral part of our lives and expect it to stay that way.
How do you use your fitness outside of the gym?
Harry is an avid waterskier and really noticed the difference in his endurance last summer. Also for him the long days in the summer at work seemed easier last summer. We also did a midnight hike this year up our back mountain for New Years Eve and did the Super Bowl workout. Drastic changes from years past.
If you could go back in time and talk to yourself when you were thinking about joining, what would you say?
We drive 45 minutes a way to cross fit. In the beginning we questioned whether we would continue after the challenge, but both of us found it a work out that we loved on a daily basis bc of the variation, friendships and scalable fitness level.
